Welcome

We are very blessed to have the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle – National Shrine in our diocese. This very important Marian Shrine continues to serve pilgrims from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Pilgrims are served primarily by offering opportunities for prayer through the liturgies of the church and also through the many devotions prayed daily. Clearly, the emphasis at the shrine is prayer.

In the celebration of the Eucharistic liturgy and the Liturgy of the Hours every day, pilgrims join the universal church in giving thanks and praise. On Sundays and solemnities the Holy Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours are celebrated solemnly.

We would like to invite all the apostolic movements to join us in the celebration of the Mass, the Hours or one of the many devotions we offer here at the Basilica.
To plan a pilgrimage with your group to the Shrine, please call Joe Cantu at 787-0033 for arrangements. Your presence with us in prayer would be a strong witness to other pilgrims of your faith commitment to “pray always” as our Lord commanded.

Vince in Bono Malum,
